The young American, who has only started playing the European Tour, is the winner of the 4th edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. With a -20 score over four rounds, he leads ahead of French player Matthieu Pavon by 2 shots. Both Anahita ambassadors, Nicolas Colsaerts and Julien Brun, have made the cut and course designer Ernie Els ranked 47. Rendez-vous in 2 years for the next edition of this beautiful tournament at Anahita.
The South-African legend Ernie Els has participated in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open for this first time since the launch of the tournament. Els had not roamed the fairways of the Anahita Golf Club since the inauguration of the stunning course he designed 10 years ago. A rather successful come back on this island he cherishes as the four-time Major winner made the cut and finished within the top 50.
The Anahita Golf Club has hosted a rather interesting competition on the course: Golf meets Gastronomy. During this unique experience, 9 delicious gourmet dishes carefully prepared by renowned local chefs, awaited at the arrival of the 9 holes. A golfing and culinary journey which celebrated its 10th edition and will certainly return to Anahita next year.
